Languedoc-Roussillon

It is in the Languedoc-Roussillon area that the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees meet. The landscape is very varied: flat sandy beaches, lagoons, fishing ports, vineyards, mountains, centuries-old beautiful villages, roman ruins, prehistoric cave paintings, castles... There is something to suit all tastes. Here, the sun shines 300 days a year. The region produces half of France's table wine and the season's first peaches and cherries.
